A murder was committed after a late dinner party, but the evidence was removed. Who is the murderer, where and how did it happen?

As a police inspector it is up to you to solve the case. Question the house guests and investigate the mansion to solve the crime. But watch out, the murderer will not take your sniffing around too lightly.

Everything is controlled by mouse/touch. Move around the mansion and click highlighted text to interact. The case is randomly generated every time you play.

Hints (open only if you struggle)
  • The murderer will eventually get nervous and kill you. This is based on steps and actions taken, not on time passed. You have all the time in the world to solve the case, but pick your interactions wisely. Easy mode will extend the number of steps you have. Certain actions cost more than others, as they would be more time consuming.
  • You need to find the magnifying glass before you can examine objects for evidence. Use the time to question the guests and eliminate suspects from your list. If an alibi is confirmed, the room automatically cannot be the crime scene, saving you some interactions.
  • The murderers alibi is a lie and as such will contradict another alibi. They are unlikely to admit being at the crime scene, so the room they pretend they were in likely also is not the crime scene.
  • The murder weapon can be located in any room.
  • Wait to pick up the weapon until you got all answers. Moving with the weapon picked up will force the murderer to act.
